Missing Flights And Cool People
Crossing Berlin off of my list

Berlin has long been one of my top destinations to visit as soon as I could. Now that I finally had free time to take a quick weekend trip, I booked a ticket and hostel two days in advance.
Between the contrasting architecture, the complicated and harsh history, and the people, it is safe to say Berlin was one of the most interesting places I have visited thus far.
The alternative style did make me feel like I wasn’t the cool kid in school, but it’s always easy to pick out the Americans in a new country anyway.
What I love about traveling the world on a budget is the use of hostels. I have met almost one hundred new people during my travels to Lisbon, Prague, Berlin, as well as my permanent home in Madrid.
I am filled with joy and energy when meeting new people and when everyone is from all over the world and from different walks of life, it makes it all the better.
The nightlife was phenomenal, the food was amazing, and the people were very welcoming. I went out to bars with my new friends, saw the most amazing light show exhibit, and ate healthy but tasty food, I had no complaints.
